I use a 5wt I also fish for bass and trout this up coming April. With my 5wt Im using a 4-lb mono regular fishing line and it keep's my fly a float with no problem saving money so i dont have to use my tippet til trout. Wow! 2wt for gill's they all most feel like monster's!?

Fly tying usually follow s after taking up the FLY ROD!!!!!!!!

What size ROD you use?????? I use nothing but a fly rod!!!!!! Mostly a 2 weight 8' long!!!!!!! But have several in different sizes up to an 8 wt.!!!! But it is like casting a TREE after using a 2 or 3 wt!!!!!!
