Thanks guys....I clean a lot of smaller hens but this girl had to go back for the gene pool....Something is working on the Pasquotank River to sustain the good Bluegill Fishing so I want to do my part......

See this is a very "well to do" mature hen and as you can see she has a small ear flap...a male her size might have a 50 cent piece size flap which is often where folks get the nickname Elvis for the big sideburns.....

The great thing about the Grass Shrimp that Jim tied it allowed me to catch many big fish that the # 10 won't handle......Big bass, catfish and bowfin to name a few.......

Thanks Jeffrey and didn't know for sure which one it was. Jim's grass shrimp look like a terrific bug to me and look relatively simple to tie. Of course the masters like Jim, Jen, Greg , and others all make things look simple!!!!!!!!

I've had a special season fishing the Gronaw Grass Shrimp jigs and now Tooty's Silent Stingers....i have caught over a thousand on the Grass Shrimp and I'm approaching 500 on the Silent Stingers. I can't wait for the Spring when I'll have both on my tackle box.......
