It's about average size around here!  Didn't start keeping them till the drought last year and the bluegill shut off.

Wow, nice catch Jen!  I definitely would've been interested in that one.  A once in a lifetime catch!  

That's the biggest Green Sunfish I've ever seen caught.

Now I'm getting the idea of heading out to Bristow this coming weekend.  There's some big Greenies and Shellcrackers in there.

The fly is another I created called my copper flash.
I used nothing but copper flashabou. It has a tail a body wrapped forward in the copper and then folded the flash back at top of hook to make a copper wing.

Apparently I didn't know what I had. He's had a hot oil bath. However I've never come close to having a mountable fish so it never entered my mind.
