Jeff, I love tele poles too. I have a couple B&M poles 12' and 16'. I am going to buy a couple of the cheap cane poles, for me and my boys. They will workout great at pond I fish alot.

You know it David! Looking forward to some Fall Crappie on this rig as well. I fish the smallest minnows I can find on these poles and its great fun!

I love the panfish poles Dwayne, I have every size between 10' and 15'. I like the larger ones for Crappie but the 12' & 13' varieties are great for gills. I even caught a seven pound channel cat this Spring on one of these telescopics. Thanks Steve!

Thanks to you all. It wasn't a great day fishing but its not always about numbers. I still managed some quality fish and the telescopic adds alot of fun to the trip. I'm not complaining as 2011 has been very good!
