Hence the name coppernose and he has lots of coloring to show off.

This fish was in the heavy spawn mode so that probably had something to do with his impressive display of Copper.....I'm fishing the Stables next week so I'm hoping I snag him and he is a bit bigger.....but you wonder if this fish would even still look the same.....Still felt goo about releasing him to do good things.....

I always look back on this fish when talking about unique color markings....The "New Penny" Gill....

This fish had more Copper coloring than any I've caught and this was on a big time spawning pattern late July of last year.......

Has anyone else caught a fish recently with this much Copper throughout its head, cheeks and face.....This fish would have lit up the night so I returned him to the waters of the "Stables" so we can hopefully catch more one day!

I still haven't seen another Coppernose with this much vibrant color on it's head and face!
