The prettiest Gill today was this nice 10" Bull
What a great time we had.....I caught 60 gills in two hours on the tipped Pink Grass Shrimp Jig......

Thanks Dick.....It's a great fishery Jim....I don't take it for granted! Our biggest enemies are tropical storms and hurricanes....the longer we go without the marsh turning over the better the fishing....been 9 years since major set backs......

A dozen gills a day over 10 inches, from public water...sheeeesh! Some years, I won't catch a dozen gills over 10 in the entire season. Great fishin' if you ask me!

A little tougher conditions today but we still had a dozen gills over ten inches so I was very happy.......
