Another Shot of my Personal Best Flier from the Pasquotank River

This fish has been prepped and placed in the Freezer for taxidermy later this season....The Flier species will be done justice by the sacrifice of this fish........A live black field cricket delivered the goods shallow!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL fish...Fliers are my favorite panfish species that I haven't yet caught.  Would LOVE to get into some of these pretty little guys!

It's in the Sunfish family Xeev Xwm......it's called a Flier and their range is very limited compared to other species, mainly in the Southeast/Mid-Atlantic....
