Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

She took it at six feet in 8 feet of water on the sloping drop off.....the heavy winds were drifting the jigs nicely serving to cover a lot of ground......

Thanks Jacob.....will look for Crappie more often  but our weather today was brutal from the wind stand point with 20-25 from the North and gusty.....I tried a few spots for Crappie and settled in when I found the Flier bite in a more protected area......

Pretty gill Jeffrey! Will you start fishing for crappie more as winter sets in?

This is what she and some of her sunfish buddies were taking......It's a good sign for fishing as long as I can find and catch a few Live Grass Shrimp...They start burying in the leaf liter and dead grasses as the water temperatures continue to drop for the winter and I think the fish are in tuned with this naturally occurring event.....
