A couple more big 10s off the Pasquotank....Not far from me a couple were catching puppy drum and flounder....got to love brackish water!

We've gotten our fair share of the rain Mark but I've been fortunate to get a window in the morning or afternoon like in the case of yesterday, to wet a line.....These fall like temperatures over the last two weeks have been very pleasant and the fish have been active.....

I think many of our Eastern Seaboard esturine rivers are all but untouched for big gills and crappies. Gotta' love this kind of fishing!

Well it's just as well she doesn't fish cause one Abney down there is enough to keep all the gills , flyers, and red ears in check!!!!! Are those the crabs you stuff the green carp , Bass, with? That does sound mighty tasty .

YUP BOTH SIZES OF HOOKS are the lightest wire I can find and they do open up once in a while and when I start loosing fish I check the hook first thing. Not unheard of for my OLD BUDDY DOUG to use one for a week at a time .

My wife went for the Crabbing Tooty...she doesn't care to fish.......I like to play around with fishing gear in between checking crab lines...........
