You may notice a couple tubes in the other pictures Jacob....I really only like a tube if I'm adding a shaker.....Don't know if you've seen the little plastic shakers you can insert, they're about the size of an ink pen cartridge and you just slide them in......I prefer the movement that I can create with the jigs pictured.......

I'm definitely going to grab some pink plastics tomorrow! By the way, what do you think about tubes for crappie? So popular up here, jigs out fish them for me.

Don't go away from what has worked for you Jacob, it's merely a recommendation based on proven techniques.......After all, this site is all about sharing information right.....If only one person catches a fish that they might not have otherwise, then I'm cool with that.....Pick up a pack of pink and give it a whirl....you never know!

thanks for the advice Jeffrey. I guess I need to try the pink for crappie. Chartreuse beat white and orange about 4:1 so that was enough for me

If I got told to choose one Jacob, it would come down to a restless night pondering the pink or chartreuse....but for Bluegill I would fall out of bed and select the pink........

the plain chartreuse with a thin straight tail kills the crappie here in illinois

Forget the gill. I want to eat it. Looks like gummy worms.
