Thank you for the info Adam.
Dick,Clear Creek, in Hocking and Fairfield counties, of 3 inland streams that have browns. The others are the Mad River in west central Ohio and the Clear Fork River (branch of the Mohican) in north central Ohio. The Mad River is the only one that has sections that are actually classified as cold water, so it has the best survival rates and offers the best chance at bigger fish out of these three. The nice thing about Clear Creek, though, is that it has lower fishing pressure. As you said, steelhead can make their way to most any river or tributary of Lake Erie. Going after steelhead is one thing I would like to get into a little more.
Thanks Dick and Ken; I'll post a pic of the bait.
Nice trout Adam. It was always my intentions to fish over your way I know we have some trout waters there my area is void of trout but I guess the Maumee river gives up a few steelhead..
Worms as bait?
