So many materials to play with and very reasonable prices. My fly fishing coworker are drooling over all the possibilities from the materials offered.

THANKS JIM and the silly legs are a bit tough to work with cause when you tie em in they tend to flair and I'd rather they were  a bit flatter.

more unique work david, using the leg material as a wing case is a stroke of genius.looks good and really will hold that fly together.

Leo they have lllllllllllllllllllots of it in stock and sell in small bags or 72 yd. bundles. Did you see all the different colors? Oh baby I"m excited.

Comment by DAVID L EITUTIS on October 10, 2012 at 8:39am

Leo it's the large size and is approx. the same as regular chenille in medium size.

I've been checking that site out quite a bit. The new age chenille you got is the medium or large Tooty? The only blue I see is medium follow by a huge selection of large. I will probably replenish my stock with all the good stuff next week.

NO DICK new age chenille is completely different . MIcro chenille is vvvvvvvvvvery small in diameter and new age is more like regular chenille made out of holographic tinsel. That's  the best way I can describe it. I get it from Anglers Workshop in Woodland Wa. number there is 360-225-9445 and ask for Rick. Tell him I sent you , He'll take care of you.Been dealing with those folks for 30+ years and there first catalog was 15 pages long and the new one is 178 pages long.

Rick I hope your new vice don't take the fun out of tying.

Comment by dick tabbert on October 9, 2012 at 8:17pm

David is that new age chenille like a micro or a mini chenille.

Comment by DAVID L EITUTIS on October 9, 2012 at 6:15pm

RICK thanks for the kind words about my humble efforts here, but you gotta remember that I"ve been doing this for around 30 years now , STEADY!  I TOOK ONE YEAR off about 4 years ago , wore out and bored. NOt bored anymore with SIr Jeffrey to supply and so many people on here I admire , like SIR JIM G. , JEN NAY FLY, GREG HOPPER, and all the other tiers who have inspired me to do some different stuff. There is so much talent on this site that I"m near the bottom of the totem pole, not the top.
