The idea wasn't mine it belongs to our friend Greg McBill.

Sounds like its time to spend some of that hard earned money on a new rod there John.

I believe the three 2# Channel Cats i caught on the rod back in May seperated the tackle shop bond.I also believe it may have been a 6+ CC that fractured it in the 1st place .

Thanks Dick-It seems to be bonding well but I need to catch fish again with it and then see if it starts coming apart again.

When I made a few spoons up with rattles again I used a 2 part epoxy. Haven't herd back any bad results yet so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Good luck on the rod repair.

Dick -What do you think Blue Fox uses as far as glue goes to their Rattlin flash spoons? Those rattles fall out easily I have found .I think they need a better glue!

I am curious how it works out Dick .Thanks for the reply .   I just applied some Gorilla Glue brand Crazy Glue  to a splintered end of an 8' Slab Seeker rod .I brought it first to a Tackle shop and spent  15 bucks on a repair which lasted for a short while .The rod worked and I landed fish but I saw  that the exact same spot has fractured again .Hate to give up this cheap rod that has many fish memories attached to it .
