Do you love big bluegill?
More Fly Fishes
Another little Bass and a slightly larger gill fell to the fly today, thus time a Cosgrove popper (sorry, Tooty!)
It came up a gully washer rain this afterMoon, and while the frogs were gargling outside, I was inside trimming and retying my tippet. Once the weather had settled to a calm, I made a beeline to the pond.
My casts are getting more predictable now, and I didn't hook my hat even once. Plenty of rises and short strikes added to the excitement.
I think I may like this flyfishing stuff.
