YUP DICK these are my go to bait in the spring for gills and this one happens to be my favorite.Been making em a long time buddy and every spring they produce results . It was a pretty little fish and just start to get the nomal gill colors for around here for spring when ever it gets here..........

Thanks guys for all the comments. Yup it was a pretty little fish and just getting his summer colors coming back. All the ponds I fish are filling and running out overflows and 3" rain predicted for this afternoon. Water temps still cold here and surprised I got anything at all yesterday. Windy and cold but still had fun by myself. Yup Jeffrey things can only get better here now and heading south on Sat. and hope to have some pics then. Some heavy cover pics to go on Heavy Cover Gillin I hope.....
