You should be down here fishin with us. It's 84, with winds SSW less than 10mph. You just don't get that often here on the prairie!

Thanks Jen and Jim .These fish weren't aggressive enough to hit a 32nd oz Jig spin but after tasting worms on jigs I managed a few with untipped Jigs. White head /White Feather Blueflash /Red collar 64th oz. and a Yellow bodied Marabou /Red Head/ Red Collar 16th oz took these fish .I should have tried black today but my hands were cold and I didnt see the need to tie on something else after having these two working.I do have good success with small Black jigs in weather like today .

Looks like a bluegill/pumkinseed cross. We have them in a local pond and they are cool looking fish!

Thanks Tooty. Maybe a hybrid .A Pumpkinseed that may have a little Bluegill genes.IMO. Not a redear for sure .We dont have them in this lake.
