Thanks for the encouragement, fellas. Its very, well... encouraging.

I think Ill decrease the tail and whiskers, and go with the colors Jim suggests. Pictures of the real thing dont look like shrimp - as this one does. They look like wannabe shrimp, little midge versions, if you will.

But this one would make a decent shrimp....

Nice job. With the reversed layout, it encourages the fish to give chase as you reel in the line. You may want to create a few dozen of these, since they will be battling quite a bit of mouths for seasons to come.

I can't answer for Rick but I know Devils Lake in the Dakota's are blessed with them. Some people call them shrimp but  they are indeed scuds. I'm assuming since it gets so cold in the Dakota's they can tolerate the cold temp I don't know about the southern state but something I'll be checking up on to satisfy my own curiosity.

Hey glad I inspire somebody but mostly glad to see your work. Lookin good buddy not bad at all and they do get easier as you tie more of them up.

Not far from a good grass shrimp imitation...really. Lighten up the colors to cream, olive or white and I think Abney will be giving you a call!

Nice job!

I DON'T THINK THE GILLS WILL NOTICE THE HEAD AND TAIL REVERSED DAVID, especially when they are trying to get rid of the hook in their face !!!!!! Great tie buddy......

Thanks, Rick.
Have you any experience with them?
Do you see them there in the waters around Chappells?

Looks good to me. I'm sure the gills will like it.
