Perfect - what a yak is made for!

This speaks speaks to so many levels and leaves so many questions - Can I PLEASE get a pic of your low profile rod holders?? That is very much like the river I fish in.

And what kind of yak is it? That is one heck of a foredeck well cover....

I attached some PVC rod holders that are almost vertical.  There is a lot of low-hanging brush on this creek, and a bunch of pipelines at one point.  With the rod holders, I can get under them.

Of course, a few days after I took this photo, we had a massive multi-day rain event that flooded this area, and raised that creek level up about 6'.  The "pipeline" crossing is not a MASSIVE snag that completely blocks upstream travel.

I need to go downstream and see what, if anything, has changed.  I haven't been there in a year; there aren't a lot of fish in there, the gator gar have eaten most of everything.\

This is from a few weeks ago.  I had paddled up a local creek, searching for good spots to fish for catfish.  I found a riffle, and got out to do a little exploring.  When I looked behind me, I realized I was set up for a good photo.

I am currently using the full-size pic as one of my desktop images on my laptop.
