love the bluegill or as i call them brim i won't to get back to louisana bad so i can catch fist like that again mich. dont have brim that big you cant find then half that size thanks for sharing

I'm getting upset that I can't open water fish for 'gills right now so I had to post something!

I did catch a couple of 11 inchers through the ice, but I'm saving those pictures for later.

Jim, that is a coppernose male that's probably on the beds for a second time last summer. This fish still swims!

Double helmet - that's insane. I like this picture of this famous fish, a little different than the one on the COVER of the PONDBOSS MAGAZINE....but still cover worthy.

Bruce, is that a pure bred male during the spawn, or is it a coppernose male? Sure is a 'double-wide' in my book! The kind i've been lookin for all these years! Congrats!
