WELL SCRUFFY THANKS BUT I'M SURE NOT ANY MASTER OF ANYTHING , CEPT MAYBE HUNTING SQUIRRELS.!!!!!!!! YUP decided to take BLuto under my wing so to speak and shouldn't take me more than about 10 minutes to show him what I know ! Well see how it goes .....

WELL DICK and all the other fellas' of interest on here my understudy is no other than James "BLUTO" GILLETTE and he will be taking over the duties of making most of my bugs ....... He has advanced enough in my eyes to do this and with Andy also maybe doing some the bugs will go on . James is a young guy with great promise as a tier and hope he makes em the same as I have and as durable .

  When he comes here to learn some stuff I'll show him all I can and the rest he can learn and invent on his own.

I"m just plain wore out and gotta let someone else do this for a while ....... Jeffrey is still my tester and will supply him as long as I'm alive ...................

 Well Dick you are right about the numbers buddy!!!!!!!! This is an old pic and these are all gone now and have to be replaced soon. I tie for more folks than just Andy and I and that's the reason for the quantities ya see . This year might be different though cause the years of doing this have caught up with me . More interested now in tying new stuff for the main tester on here SIr Jeffrey. I used to support my hobby with these vast quantities , but those days are rapidly coming to an end .
  JUst getting tired or lazy or both . I can tie up what Andy and I need in a few days for the whole year and may do that this year. I'll be 65 this July and may approach the bugs differently this year. I don't have to , but will have enough made up ahead of time for Kent, cause I fish his pond, and Sir Jeffrey, and a few others .
  I"m also thinking of turning over the reigns so to speak to a talented young tier on here and let him make all the  TOOTY PATTERNS from here on out . May make a few more video's however ........
   Of course this all depends on the young tier on here and he shows great promise. Will gladly help anyone on here , but if no one asks then that's that.
    THERE IS SO MUCH TYING TALENT ON HER , BOTH YOUNG AND OLD, THAT IT JUST AMAZES ME TO NO END . I'M SERIOUS WHEN I SAY THIS . Lots of folks on here are so much more talented than me it staggers the imagination. Can't list em all but can't because if I forgot just one they would be offended , and I just won't do that . DIck you are near the top of the list of the people I admire on here cause I can remember how much promise your first works displayed. THere are numerous others like MARK SLEEPER that  just don't get the attention they deserve because they just aren't on here as much as me or you for that matter. THE LIST GOES ON AND ON , Mark Stine makes the nicest poppers I've ever seen, Rex Robinson, Jen Nayfly, Greghopper , and so many others it would take all night to list.Well ya get my drift that in anyway Im mentioned in the same paragraph as these folks , WHAT COULD BE BETTER THAN THAT.
  NOW LETS NOT FORGET JIG MASTER JIM GRONAW , his jigs are legendary to say the least and this has been proved by my buddy Sir Jeffrey .
   Well I had time to ramble tonight and so I did. My new understudy to be named real soon and hope he lives up to the hype I've given him and will give him in the future. ONE THING STANDS OUT ABOUT THIS KID, he takes constructive advise well and never questions it ...... See I almost forgot ole SCRUFFY on here too , and sure I've missed others , but my memory is shot now .........

Yea that's what happens when we retire but he is far more interested in tying than I the shear numbers of flies will tell you that.
