LOOKS GREAT RICK BUT I nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnever would have used anything on the blank and if it was discolored like many of em are I'd have left it alone after the alcohol and wax. Just my preference is all..... CARRY ON!

I used 600grit wet and dry sand paper to polish the glass part and Tooty recommend 400 for the cork handle.... it rdy to go fishing
