Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

These are the dynamics I don't want to see...this fish was 11.5" long, but a runt at only 1 lb, 9.5 ozs. He should've weighed much more for that length.

You got to love it when it's one of your own and a beauty on top of that.

A superb runt. Can't wait to see the mothership.

You guys are right, it was a good fish. It just caught me by surprise when I saw how light it was for its length. I guess I've been doing this for so long I forget to just enjoy the catch, instead of running the math. My bad.

I know what Tony is shooting for...but that's still a trophy fish for most of us on planet earth.

Similar to the dynamics I have seen at the trophy hybrid pond where I fish here at home.
