Missouri state record longear
My 9.25' was longer, but I released it. My pal Brian L. and I went back and he caught this 8.75 incher and had it weighed and verified by the Missouri Department of Conservation. You are looking at the Missouri state record Longear Sunfish....though we know (see 9.25' longear picture) that a bigger one is out there!
