Both are talapia, but they're usually bluer, like thge other pix. I've caught them in Saddle Creek and Toho in Central Fla.

When its hot, they'll take a wet or sinking fly if worked very slowly. They're fun when its too hot for anything else. Under 80 cant find em.

Aren't Tilapia African in origin?
I'm surprised you caught it, Dan. I've heard Tilapia are vegetarians, but will take broccoli on a hook, and occasionally some nymphs on a fly rod.

Oh wow! Close to albino version of the talipia. Could someone verify this species for me? Looks like from Asian origin but the pectoral is a bit odd.
