Comment by jim cosgrove on February 7, 2013 at 6:46pm

super easy to make jeffrey,i get the jigs and spinners in bulk.maribou, crystal chenille, and a low grade red hackle feather to give it a gill flare.the mateial colors as tooty has proven are endless.i tip these with a wax worm ,made em with crappie in mind but for some reason the redears and hybrids like em too.

David-yes hobby lobby is my favorite for foam and glass beads wire etc.a website i discovered called chuck and deb .com has the spinner arms assembled and not.tying materials and tools.bulk jigs, lead ant and spider bodies and on and on.like a ma and pa netcraft and way cheaper.a little hard to navigate the site so take your time and look around.they take paypal and i usually have my order in 3-4 days.they used to sell pony head jigs like road runners you had to put the blades on yourself.only way now is buy the mold or pay 6 bucks for 5 roadrunners.

HEY JIM, NNNNNNNNNNNICE WORK AND I NEVER THOUGHT OF adding a spinner to my own bugs and will give it a try for sure. Thanks for the tip on the foam too and do you find in hobby stores? Have you ever tried in line spinners or always use the beetle spin type?

That's excellent design! Both attract by sight and disturbance in the water.
