HEY LEO AND ALLEN,

THAT IS A FLY FOR GILLS TIED ON the wrong hook. Dick will rectify it tomorrow with some short shank hooks . Carl Hendrix wants you to call him so he can tell you about porcupine eggs !!!!!!!!!!!

Comment by Leo Nguyen on January 22, 2013 at 7:19pm
Good question Allen. I have no clue what this fly is for, but the colors and patterns will attract quite a handful of apex predators, especially striped bass around here.

Leo, was that a Salmon Fly of some sort???  Looks like it was tied on a 7xl streamer hook.  I think you can get those from Netcraft.

It doesn't much matter if the tail is full but you want the body full too. I'lll pick out a pic and post it for ya , hang in there a minute buddy.

Comment by dick tabbert on January 22, 2013 at 6:42pm

Again at the beginning you mean at the tail and a plumb is a feather.

Comment by dick tabbert on January 22, 2013 at 6:40pm

Yea but your telling me its to skinny. I did dub extra marabou around the bead because it was to short that part I got..

Comment by DAVID L EITUTIS on January 22, 2013 at 6:39pm

don't know what a plumb is but yeah just tie in more at the beginning and I"ll stay on till you get it right buddy.
