Comment by Jen Nayfly on January 18, 2013 at 4:06pm: That fly IS NOT a failure, it's a learning experience. I tie most everything on a size 10 and have just adapted the amount of material. As you get more experience you will too. I'd fish that fly!!!!

Dick - Allen and Tooty are correct will look differant in water and head first treat for fish.

Also, don't toss that fly into the recycle/donate bag until you try it. Remember, fish have to eat other fish HEAD FIRST! Buy putting the hook up near the eyes, said hook point is in a good position to pierce that fish's lip on the strike!
