HEY JEN THANKS FOR THE PIC AND GLAD YOU like the old stye stuff. MOst of em made today are very good and Cabela's of course has top shelf stuff generally.
  The old Wonderods I use and cherish are just about bullet proof and won't fish with graphite my self any more. Nice looking rod!!!! Tell me is it lighter than you thought it would be? Also I'll bet it's slower actioned than the carbon rods you been using . I have found over the years that the glass rods are very forgiving and a joy to cast once you get the speed right ..........

Tooty,I now have a fiberglass fly rod. I Like it, it is a fun rod, it will take some getting used to.

Ya all know that back in the day after steel rods came glass as the best replacement for steel and bamboo. Well back in 1953 this was available and still I think one of the handsomest rods ever made .........undefined

I STILL use the old glass rods myself and have many wonderods and other glass makes in my collection..... Glad to have ya here!
