Amazingly, these are the only pics i have to post of redbreasts. I've posted them on the site before, but i wanted to post them to the group also.

Good article, Jason. I like using a 1/64 to a 1/32 jig and wiggler combination on them. They really hammer it in the river I fish. I have also caught them on beetle spins and rooster tails in this same river.

Here's an interesting writeup with lots of info on the redbreast. I thought I'd share this with the group.

I have seen nice ones from the South Edisto, this time up country near the headwaters. I've caught a few nice ones there, although lots of people do much better than me. I'm not a very good fisherman! LOL

Moving water in the Carolinas.....Lumber River comes to mind in North Carolina and the most I've ever caught consistently was on the lower Edisto River in the low country of South Carolina....The Pee Dee river systems in up state South Carolina are great Redbreast waters also.....

Where do you guys usually find your redbreasts? I've caught them in ponds, lakes and rivers. My biggest came from a pond, but the most vivid colored comes from the moving water. I've caught them on night crawlers, grubs, and spinners.
