Not all RBS I catch have that turquoise fin edging .I love seeing that ! Yes David they can be very aggressive! I don't see them as shy at all!

LOOK at size of that spoon!
That throws what we think about these fish out the window....

Here's a lake caught RBS David but most I catch are in rivers .Lots of fun on the flyrod but I've gotten them on worms, spin flys, and twister tails too. \

David, they're abundant in moving waters.....although my biggest one came from a pond.....it's the fish pictured as the REDBREAST LOVERS image for our group here.....
The fish I just posted hit a Rapala Shad Rap like it was his job!

The only place I've ever caught then is in moving water.
I'm pretty sure its their normal habitat.
Got you're whole thumb in there!!

I've caught several redbreasts in the rivers lately.....I'll post a pic if one of the better fish when I get to my desktop computer....(wont let me on my iPhone)....I've been exclusively wading and fishing rivers recently....this has been and truly become my passion.....smallmouth and every other fish in the rivers are a blast....
