My ponds are still pretty cold right now, so plenty of time to implement your ideas. Great pics, thank you, really informative to see them. Can't wait for more of your ideas.....makes me feel kinda amatuerish... LOL

This will let it float up and down with the water level but keep it in one general area. You see where pond boss is looking at changing it format. Could be a whole lot user friendly. I think I'll add a solar powered light in the middle. Use one like you use around your sidewalk.
