Ha! I just saw where you got that picture and idea from and did you see what adiron said to do with it? ;) Great minds think alike. :P

Great ideas and some I will use myself. I have some PVC schedule 40 laying around and some spare bricks. My ponds are still pretty cold right now, so plenty of time to implement your ideas. Great pics, thank you, really informative to see them. Can't wait for more of your ideas.....makes me feel kinda amatuerish... LOL

Yep, saw the thread. Added my thoughts. I think it's going to be awesome.

I will tie it down with 20lb test line tied to bricks. This will let it float up and down with the water level but keep it in one general area. You see where pond boss is looking at changing it format. Could be a whole lot user friendly. I think I'll add a solar powered light in the middle. Use one like you use around your sidewalk.

Are you going to anchor it so it doesn't just float off to a corner of your pond. Definitely document the project with plenty of pics and post them here and at PB. Would love to see how it turns out.

Josh didn't consider that but your right. This could be done with out much more work. Good think there Buddy. So it been said let it be done. This would also be good place to put food out so it does float up and down the pond.

Re: your structure pic, the floating one. Have you seen threads about floating islands at PB? I might consider combining the two ideas. Might be pretty cool and more attractive on the top of the water.
