I love getting home from the office taking my pole put a worm on and toss it out, there alway a bass or gill hit it within 5 to 10 min. Mawmaw comeout about 6:30 with a new pot of coffee. We feed the fish watch them tear up the water drink our coffee and talk about what the grandkids were say last weekend and who's coming out this weekend. OH and she alway comes up with "you know you should do this" like I ain't always working around this thing. :-)

good to hear Billy I've to seen minnow and tadpole all over the place. Did you restock? Did you loose a bunch with all the rain? fish biting everything. Girls been catching them on minnows.

Seeing a lot of minnows all around my pond and in all the brush. Good sign, also creek connecting my two ponds full of small bream and minnows.

Have seen some bass in the 4-5 lb range cruising under the bream when I feed them. No sign of the crappie I put in last year yet. Catfish aren't coming up to feed yet either. But hundreds of bream all around our pier can be seen. All sizes too. Starting to catch some red ear 3-5 inches and think these are some I put in last year. All in all things are looking up, didn't lose as many fish as I thought in the flood.

My youngest daughter and her family came to fish. All were so excited about being able to drop a line an immediately catch a fish. My granddaughter actually got tired of pulling in the fish and said, "Gran Gran, I'm too good for these fish, think I will stop fishing for a while and let them rest" LOL Got to get my camera out next time.....
