Alec-Great job with the flyrod on those great Yellow Perch !Greg Mc Williams wants to catch Perch on his flyrod in the worst way .So would I in fact .What flies did you use ?I imagine you used a sinking line ,is that right?

Yellow Perch in the shallows (some Gills too) in November ,YES! Jig and crawler piece slip floated @4'.They can be caught out in the basin areas drifting and dragging same bait .Yellow Perch are active!

Getting some Perch on bottom with jig/crawler piece.Wrist snapping spoons off bottom also. They are scavenging sand/pebble bottoms.

I dont know Charlie I am getting them in a lake shallow by inlets and midlake trolling  or in dock or tree cover near deeper water.
