I fish most of the lakes here in Southern Ind., I mostly fish for shellcrackers and bluegill. My favorite lakes are Indian, Celina, Hardy and Glendale.
We went to Tuckers yesterday, which is located close to Paoli and caught a few. Certainly not a great day but fun none the less. Does anyone know of good lakes in Southern Indiana that hold big crackers and bluegill?
I live in the west central part of the state near Greencastle.
I pheasant hunted at Glendale a few times. Always wanted to try that lake. I think I'll try a trip that way soon with my ten year old.
If you want to come an hour north of there - there's a ZILLION places in Greene and Sullivan Counties - strip pits everywhere. Of course you likely know of Greene-Sullivan State Forest, Shakamak, and Minnehaha - all are great with some specific waters on each being better than others of course. I fish at Hillenbrand a little and at Chinook a lot. If you ever got up that far Terre Haute and Vigo County parks are also very nice.
