no car top for me... i have a 10lb limit and no repetitive bending restriction. i plan my launches carefully with my jon. this would be a small trailer and dolly to launch. one of my main problems is sitting for lengthy or varied periods of time.
Looks nice; a decent open plan. The storage wells at the elbow are great. There is LITTLE room in kayaks for keeping ready gear. These wells will be invaluable.
Now, this tub is too short coupled to suit me; I just sold a ten footer for that very reason.
But. much depends on your usage, and location. Small yaks on big waters, for example, don't mix too well. You are pretty much stuck shore hugging. But if you are on ponds, small back waters, slow creeks, etc. it could be just the ticket.
Reviews look good for this one. Now that I see it, I'm thinking a 12 foot model of the same might be in my future.
that will make you a nice ride ,lots of room
I need to get my boat out to one of my local lakes this week, take a fly rod, and harass some sunnies!!!
A comment to Lee Hagel......You are a big fella and I am not sure a 12' yak is quite large enough. I am 180 to 190 and I was concerned that a 12' would be a little more wet than I wanted. I ended up buying a 13.5'. I got sick this spring and I have not even been out in it yet but I still think I made the correct choice since I intend to mostly fish flat water. If lots of streams are in your future the 12' might be a better choice. I am guessing that you will be sitting in water most of the time in a 10'.
