Well fellas! I'm finally ordering the vessel today! I'm completely excited, like a kid at Christmas!I hope it will arrive before Friday! Steph and I are going camping over the weekend and are planning to rock the tubes! Be prepared for photos on Tuesday!

Kickers vs. fins - anyone know where to find some kickers?
Hi - I have some a Fishmaster tube (Old, round one with a real inner tube). I also have Fishmaster kickers that propel you forward instead of backward.

I just put my ten year old in a tube and although he gets around ok with fins - he'd rather have kickers because he get's nervous going backward and not being able to see very well behind him. I am letting him use my kickers and I will use fins for the time being. However, I like kickers better.

Anyone know if someone else sells anything similar?
Thanks
J

Andrew, I put a tutorial on ths site on installing a rod holder on an Outcast Fat Cat. To tell the truth I wouldn't have a clue how to find it again. It might be on my site page.???? I don't visit me very often. lol ole Mike

Hi all! Andy here.New guy to float tubing.Got my first tube about a month ago and really love it.Most relaxing way to fish.I live in Northeastern Pa. and fish local lakes and ponds.Somewhere I saw a picture that some one had a rod holder on his tube and was wondering if any of you guys know any thing about it.It looked to be made out of pvc tubing but the picture was not very clear.I have a Creek Company ODC 420 tube and would love to know how to make one for it.Thanks for your time.

You can get a new bladder from the Outcast site online. Meanwhile, you could leave the hand pump tube attached to your tube valve and just give it a puff of air by mouth right on the water.
I done that once for a slow leak till I found and repaired it.
Fish Cat#4 bladders can be repaired with any simple pool patch kit from a local store. ole Mike

I think it can be done. I got a slow leak in my old fishcat, I bet I could fix it, but I cant find it! that was two years ago, it gets a little soft on one side after a long day on the water, but its floatation is not compomised. I would get it and see what you can do, I know they come with a patch kit. if you dont get one with your tube you could probably get one from outcast...

Hay fellow float tubers I am currently looking at a Fish Cat 4 on criagslist for about $50. He said it has a small leak, so my question is does any one know if it is possible to repair one of these tubes and how successfull might it be if I was to repair it.
I figure a small leak in one tube that can be fixed may be worth $50 all together.

Thanks
