Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I made a few floats from my first crop of ornamental grass/bamboo/reeds I transplanted to my yard summer before last. I painted these but I wish I hadn't, the body material is very slick and the paint doesn't adhere very well. My painting isn't great anyway and having a slick surface didn't help. I will only paint the stems from now on.

KEITH; FOR MY BETTER FLOATS;  I STORE THEM IN PVC TUBING;; NO WAY THEY CAN GET BROKE  THERE;; PLUS;; REALLY GOOD TO SHIP THEM IN;;; LOLOLOL;; ASK LEO;; WHAT HAPPENED; WHEN I SHIPPED HIM 2 OF MY QUILL FLOATS IN THE PVC PIPE !  IT GOT; KIND OF HISTERICAL !

They look great.
I like your production consistency

Yeah, Keith is the best.

Thanks Guys, I'm probably not even the best float maker in my house. My son could out do me if he wanted to. He makes some better looking knives than I do. I like the method as much as I like the results. I need to do a few videos to show how simple this is. Can you download videos directly to the site?

I think YouTube is how to do it. Ten you just copy and paste the ebbed code.

Great looking stuff Keith

I took my new floats for a spin yesterday. It was just a simple hook, weight and float rig baited with a chunk of night crawler. I was very pleased.

Thats what its all about, aint it?

CONGRATS TO YA KEITH !  GOOD LOOKING LITTLE GILL;; AND YOUR FLOAT WORKED !

It is for me Scruffy. The only thing better is seeing watching someone else enjoy using one.
