The Lowly woolie worm, great fly. The one on the left is tied wraping the chanille up , then wrapping your hackle up. The one on the right, tie in chanile and hackle. Pull both down in front with the stem in line with chanille. Stoke the hackle fibers so they stick out. Clip hackle pliers on stem and chanille and twist. The hackle becomes part of the chanille, wrap forward. The flies look about the same but a That hackle is locked in, and a fish will not break the hackle

i havent fisehed with one yet but i have tied a couple of them up a very easy tie to do. as soon as i get this cast of my left foot 2mrow i may be able to go fishing if it dont rain. if not then on saturday. if i can tie it anyone can

Robert, Haven't fished it Greg post a pic og a woolie worm asked somebody to ty in fly form. That must have been a big sucker That is a 8 2extra long hook. Ought to flot really good the is a lot of hackle in it.

The wooly worms are really fuzzy this year at least here on the prairie. Would any one like to recreat this little fellow in the form of a fly?

With that wire body, makes it a weighted fly. Thats cool. Nice fly!!! GOOD JOB!! ( insert Smilie face)
