Wow, David! As a fairly new grand father to a sweet little girl. I can tell you that she has stolen my heart, totally!

Mom is doing fine - had to have a C-section, though. Shes already complaining about the nurses, hospital food and whether the baby will suck her thumb. All the classic signs she's making the turn. LOL

The baby has done all the "business" babies must do and is now taking formula. She is very hale and weighs 7 1/2 lbs, @24"

Everything appears normal.

24"? Wow..she'll be very very tall

Both father and grandad are tall. Im 6'1" and my son is 6'3."

My family is Scotch/English and Norwegian. Momma has a Hungarian and English background.

I'm guessing this little girl will show her European genes very well.

Congrats David.....Grandaughters make good fishing buddies too....Speedy recovery for all and get home soon!

Now that is truly a precious. Some things seem to make life so much better and you are blessed with one of the greatest. Kaleigh looks so contented and a beautiful addition to your family and I know she will have a Barbie rod soon if you don't have it already. Enjoy Greg as I know you will there will be memories to be had you know Grandpa and Grandaugther. LOL
