Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Before i start it, i just want see if i can strike up some interest!  The winner would receive three porcupine quill floats that i have made, in their choice of size i have available and whatever color scheme i can make! (fluorescent tipped, red/yellow)

I think you would have a better response Chris if you had what the contest was. Personally I have never used a porcupine quill float before but hear many good things about them. Wish you luck.

Whoever catches and posts a photo of the biggest fish that they caught that week will be the winner!

Is it any type of fish or bluegill only, and do I get extra credit for catching it on a porcupine quill?  Man I wish I had some pet porcupines.      LOFR

I think i'll make it two categories, because i like all types of fish. biggest fish, and biggest sunfish!

Define "sunfish"?  Remember, Black Bass are technically sunfish.

I may have to get some snagging gear and go after spoonbill......j/k

When will it start? I'm in.

It'll start on monday, so these couple days will let everyone get ready or plan to go fish etc. I'll make a new thread on late sunday or on monday with the rules and whatnot. hopefully more people will join in!
