Do you love big bluegill?

New to the site, love the pictures of the Big Ones. I didn't know they got so big (over 1 lb). Any AZ Fisherman out there. Like to hear from you about your techniques, I've been using pieces of worms that seems to work all of the time. Usually I'm at Canyon Lake because it's quiet but now I have a kayak and will be exploring a bit this coming weekend. Everyone likes to go after the big boys (Bass, etc.) but these little panfish are a joy to catch and man do they fight. Also, let me know if there are any good websites to check out. Thanks.
