Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I hate it when a good forum goes dead. What a waste considering all the great posts over the years.

I know im late to the party, but I still stop by every once and a while to see if people are still posting

Hey Frank , I visit almost everyday!A lot of archives are here that I like going over .I wish it was more active as it's gotten lonely!

You’re so right John……I still love this site but really enjoyed it when many more anglers gave input…..,I still fish today with homemade baits from almost ten of the members…….hopefully we can generate a kick start but even enticing new members has not worked out because their membership hasn’t been approved…….hopefully we can keep it going, I just retired and hope I can increase my input /endeavors……

I 'd like to know why people interested are not approved to keep it going, Jeff!

I’ve encouraged several people to join but as far back as 2022 they tried and never got approved so they haven’t been able to post…,they visit to see my posts but can’t comment or add any content…..

Same here.

Is the site still active or has most folks kind of just drifted away from it? I know it has been a while sincxe I last tried to log in and when I just tried, I had to go by eay of Chicago to get to St. Louis!!

Hi Marvin, yes it's dropped off considerably in visits and comments. I still post and visit however and hope you will continue. Go catch 'em ,Man!

I diont visit the site as often as I use to, and thats sad for me. Guess I am too busy with other chores and the ole mind just doesnt think of it most of the time. I always got good feed back from you fellas and really learned a lot of things from the site.I miss Carl Hendrix on here as he took me under his "teachers" wing and shared a lot of ideas and his ties with me.The ice season for me here in central Iowa has "left the building" for this year and I am now tryng to get my blue gill gear cleaned up for that. Thanks for the reply and I will try to visit more often now. Thanks to everybody that still does post!!!

Marvin -not sure you know but Carl Hendrix, one of the best guys I met here and most generous and fun-loving Man has sadly passed on! I hope you will visit more and share your fishing experiences. All the best!

I  wrote a long reply, but it got deleted. Maybe another time.

Hey Frank! Deleted?
