i went fishing yesyerday at my favorite spot, which occassionally produces some MASSIVE gills. One came from the deeps onto my fly line, and boy did it put up a good fight. i pulled that baby in we think its a pure pumpkinseed. it was 10 inches and really heavy, we think at least a pound. so if anyone knows of a state record for Pumpkinseed in PA, please let me know. i will attach pictures.
also, if you think its not a pumpkinseed, let me know too.

its a green sunfish, and I've have looked many times to find Pa panfish records and all i've found is the bluegill
