Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

My Wife and I Caught a Solid Bushel of Blue Crabs Today......8/18/2019

Most of our catch were heavy/rusty "jimmys" anchored on a sandy flat with water depths of two to three feet.....the bite was steady on chicken legs on a string........we'll eat good this week ......these crabs are being purged with fresh water and table salt for thirty minutes to flush out sand and debris before cooking

Thanks TK.......looking forward to it........it's a little sweeter when you catch your own......the market price for the best crabs is $40.00 a dozen right now so we caught about $120.00 worth.......late summer through Halloween is peak for the largest crabs.....
