...thanks Jeff!

Just a few small panfish and a bonus Northern Pike timing the bite to the solunar periods

Hey Slip...

In your video

Micro Jig, Panfishing, Blue gills, panfish, jigs

You changed from a little minnow to something in a jar and really started catching the gills then.  What was it?  THANKS

Hey Riverman!...yep … I was just coming off some tremendous streaks with the Lil Minnow … a few 100+ fish days… so I continued this day using the same bait… something was different with the fish attitude… they were persistently nipping the tails and not biting deep… so I tipped the 1/64 oz jig with a GULP Waxie… it was one fish after another at that point…

You go with what works… since that day forward the gulp pink waxie has been my starting method and I haven’t looked back

thanks for viewing and commenting

Just ordered my pink and a jar of green waxies.... I wonder if they will work down south on these picky fish.

...ive been having a blast with em! just the other day they completely shut out the live waxies under the ice

they work excellent down here.  i tip popeye jigs with pink or chartreuse depending on water clarity.  i have zero luck with berkley maggots though and i imagine its not a natural forage bait here is the reason.

they like anything with red or pink in the jig and i have had excellent results as well with orange nymphs and orange jig heads.  i imagine the orange mimics the small crayfish and horn snails.

Cant wait to see these videos Slip!!

...thanks Vinnie!

Lepomis Catch and Keep... 10 for the Pan

Hey FinAddicts... since I have been so adept at tagging the eater slot Lepomis I decided to keep some for the pan!...  I am also a diehard CNR fisherman and I adhere to a few simple self imposed rules for the trip... keep only 8" or under and only 10 for the meal... no loading the freezer. If I tag a junior bass between 14 and 16" I also keep. Tagging and keeping a B.Crappie replace 2 B.Gills... Let's Go!

Another good video Slip. Still open water in central Indiana, hoping for safe ice sometime. Keep the videos coming.

"I NEED TO SET MY HOOKS INTO SOMETHING!!" Fishing the Lull.Period... Minor/Minor

Intentionally fishing the Minor/Minor period on the ice for a bite... I know fishing will be tough; the toughest there is on the ice during these times but would like to video record it for the viewers.

Everyone knows ice fishing is a tough way to go... but during poor fishing periods could be even more brutal... I barely avoid the skunking in the bottom of the ninth with a walk off.
