seems we go thru this every spring.i for 1 am a firm believer in the full moon spawn theory.others will strongly disagree.all i ask is let some of those big males free to insure the future.a search of BBG will will i am sure will get you to responses on the spawn

I know I'm late to this discussion, but we fished yesterday 8/6/2020, 3 days after the full moon. I cleaned a few of the fish and found eggs in 2 of them. Are these late spawners or do female Bluegill spawn more than 1 time a year?
