Some hand "tied" stuff for fishing the hard stuff

I've spent way to much on stuff to tie flies for fly fishing for monster gills, and as I was sitting at my vice, I saw some .30 wire sitting there, I picked it up, grabbed a size 10 scud hook, and went to work on something I hoped would catch some fish during the ice season.

I also tied this ice "fly"

I tried them both out tonight, and the worked just as good as the store bought jig I started the outing with. Well, at least they did until the fish left.
