Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

It was a great day near 45 fishers.
Tough bite but everyone caught fish. Many 12 inchers were landed witha few nice fat gills.
The temps were warmer and the winds stayed low for some great after lunch runnin and gunnin.
I'm just gonna toss in the pics as it's late.
I'm sure there are many diffeerent stories that the guys will add that were there.
Nick..

So as I'm waiting for fish to swim into my sonar I'm kicking it back in my Otter Lodge all warm and comfy.
Here's the view....

Well that was a great way to kick off the winter ice fishing season.
By the sounds of it the gtg was fun for everyone involved.
I want to thank all of those that brought stuff to help feed the group.
I also appreciate all of the helps that were given.
Don from Wilcraft did a great job of running the shuttle hauling off our gear.
I also want to thank Gamma for the hats and free line that I was able to give out.
Chris from Otter also donated a bunch of hats plus a tub that Doug recieved so he can relieve his lil green sled.
StrikeMaster also donated some shirts and a bunch of large bait pucks.

My relationship with these fine companies is there for 1 reason. They make great dependable gear and I use all of it to make me better out there plus it's what I'm directing others to aquire if they do not want to fall into those same pitfalls I fel into prior to using their products.
The GTG was a time for many things to happen.
I'm hoping everyone took a piece of that back with them in some fashion or another.
Thanks for making this GTG on early ice a great time!

Chris said he caught a few personal bests in crappie and bluegill.
