i tried melting the ends dick.did not ball up like mono as expected.  it is a soft stretchy material.until i   looked closely i assumed it was a tubing .i don't even know where i got it.

it seems to work the same way the fiber optic sights for guns and pins on a bow work.

Pretty cool and downright inventive.
If there is enough light in the water, it might attract attention and result in a strike.
You oughta catch a bunch of fishermen with that innovation, too!

I have been using weed wacker line they have a flourescent orange and chartruse. I wonder if the uv material wil add more light gathering to these as well

 how you doing jim it is good to see you are hard at it. we have had so much rain he in Louisiana the fish still haven't spawned,but they trying. the wife and i where going this am but the weather sucks.i saw this  thought you might enlightened me .what is this stuff it sure looks good.

good to hear from you shooter.the spawn is just starting here.was at a nature preserve with no fishing allowed and saw literally 100s an d 100s of beds.

it is a type of vinyl or plastic lace i picked up at a craft store i think.i think it is for making necklaces or something.i dip the end in UV cure resin to build up the eyes.it has a fiber optic quality to it i didn't notice at first
