Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Where are you when it comes to fishing with Micro Tungsten jigs and micro plastics?... is it a fad?

Great article on ice panfishing in Jan-Feb 2015 issue of In-Fisherman

Don’t forget alot of these ice fishing tips are some-what applicable in the open water vertical jigging!

20150131-MICRO FISH ON MICRO TUNGSTEN

looks to cold to be out there!!!  LOL

In an odd way, I understand fishing on the ice more than I do this:

A local that got out early yesterday morning took that while crappie fishing. He slayed 'em, but still...

what do you mean fishing with the lines freezing up?

Yes. The surface of the water tells the rest of the story; it is below freezing and breezy and they are sitting out in the middle of open water. That's bone chilling! I would rather be on a snow covered frozen lake than an open lake with a below freezing breeze.

Carl its surprising how you become conditioned... i very rarely wear gloves any more above 25 degrees
